My sweet friend Libby came to visit us for a long weekend and I thought it would be fun for the 3 girls (Libby, myself ... and B) to go ice skating downtown one afternoon. I was certain that Blaykleigh would be into it, I was wrong. BIG mistake! My bad. I think we may have made one lap around the entire rink and that one lap took a good 30 minutes. 30 minutes of torturous crying and Blaykleigh going back and forth between "I DO IT!" to "help me, hold me!" back to "I DO IT!" Needless to say, one lap was all Blaykleigh could handle emotionally and one lap was all I could handle if I were to keep my sanity. Perhaps next year will be better.
